The Aivangelist: Google Creates Diffusion model to create photorealistic images with Text and Create Custom QR codes with Stable Diffusion and Ccontolnet
It’s Monday! Happy Juneteenth to my U.S. readers! I hope everyone was able to enjoy their day. I want to update you with what I found. Google made its own Text 2 Image Diffusion Model, Imagen AI. What else has been on my mind? I want to add a few designs to the store and experiment with creating custom QR Codes with AI.
Imagen AI by Google
The Imagen AI system creates photorealistic images from input text. However, the system may encode harmful stereotypes and representations due to the biases and limitations of large language models. The authors aim to progress on these challenges in future work and have decided not to release Imagen for public use without further safeguards. Although we can’t access the Imagen Model Directly, we can download and play around with EditBench. Edit Bench is a simple-to-use Text2Image Inpainting tool used to edit images with a fine-tuned version of the Imagen Diffusion Model.
Learning how to make a QR code with Stable Diffusion
Last week I was viewing Reddit and stumbled across a post that caught my interest and came across the most useful for what I’m doing. Creating custom QR codes using a standard QR code generated by your platform of choice, I will be using a small QR code generator I forked and edited slightly so that I can create my QR codes; I provided a link so that you all can make a QR Code for your links. This is a solid reason why knowing how to program is growing more beneficial as the days move forward. After booting up Automatic1111, one of my favorite AI Art tools, I Downloaded my QR Code generated for Moika’s Lookout and selected it as my media of choice for A1111’s Img2Img.

This is still in the prototype phase, so I’m still testing out various configurations to make things a little more interesting so that I can integrate the QR code of Moika’s Lookout and integrating it into our art and see how we can make these bland QR code fun again, I will be writing a guide on how we create them.
